If you’re a new vaper, then you may find all the talk of mouth to lung and direct lung vaping a bit confusing. In fact, some manufacturers just put MTL or DL on their coil heads.

 

Not to worry, here is a simple explanation.


 

Mouth to Lung:

Much like smoking a plant cigarette, mouth to lung is when the user draws the vapour into their mouth before inhaling it into their lungs. This technique provides more of a throat hit but produces less vapour. Mouth to lung vaping requires a tighter airflow.

 

Direct Lung:

Direct lung vaping is when the user takes a longer draw and inhales directly into their lungs. This technique requires a lot of air flow and produces the most vapour. Due to the amount of vapour inhaled, it is recommended that vapers drop their nicotine level to 6mg or below.
